And just like the birds in the nests, our first beginners students hatched out, shook off the leftover eggshells and quickly took to the skies.

Spring has sprung in the Northern hemisphere.
In the mean time in the land down under Ivelin Kalushkov sets another Bulgarian national record of speed over 300 km FAI traingle in 15 and 18 m class.
With the season begining in Bulgaria and the first students getting some amazing weather, the season on the oposite side of the Earth is in full power.
Ivelin Kalushkov participated in 2 gliding competitions and managed to get his FAI Silver, Gold and 2 Diamond badges:
Altough the weather is warming up winter is still not gone and likes to remind us of that.
The first batch of beginners had a fairly wet week o training but all managed to finish their beginners course happy.
In the mean time Ivo is enjoying the beautiful and rather hot summer in Australia
Despite the difficult political situation, our 6th tour to Ethiopia was sweet and fruitfull.
2 weeks of intensive flying experience over stunning landscape and coffee smelling thermals (coffe originates from Ethiopia)

Hello dear friends - you can find our 2018 calenar for courses and guiding published.
We are having a few small changes. BHPA courses will be held on the noted dates, but we are available for standard Beginners and Intermediate training during that time as well.
XC training will now be provided mainly on the selected dates but we could be flexble depnding on availability.

With the conditions getting more mellow Ivelin decided to take a new read on flying the local area swaping to some more rigid wings.
With the end of June marking the beginning of the active summer season the XC enthusiasts started rolling in - our friends from the United Kingdom and Belgium managed to do some early season XC flights despite the tricky weather at times:
Niki took our friends on trips to South Western Bulgariato explore new places and flight opportunities.
As the month flew by so did a few more "little birds".
May provided good conditions for our new batch of wannabe eagles to start flying with the birds.
Ivo and Hristo finished 2 successfull beginners and Intermediate courses, and Niki joined in for the first BHPA EP course training for our big group at the end of the month:
Everyone finished with happy faces and a lot of new paragliding dreams.
